1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the SLL website, mobile applications and related services (collectively the “Platform”). The Platform is owned and operated by SLL ("we", "us" or "our"), a company that provides online tools to help clubs, societies and other community organisations raise funds and manage their memberships and events. SLL itself does not operate or conduct any lotteries or gambling activities. Instead, registered clubs/ organisations (“Clubs/ Organisations”) may use the Platform to administer their own fundraising activities—such as raffles, lotteries or lottos—under licences and permissions obtained by those Clubs. The contract for any fundraising draw is between you and the Club running that draw; SLL simply facilitates the transaction.

By using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to any other policies and guidelines we publish (such as our privacy policy and acceptable use policy). If you do not accept these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

• One Time Password (OTP) – a unique code/ credential issued by us to a registered user of the Platform.
• Clubs/ Organisations – a sporting club, charity, society or other community organisation that has registered with SLL to use the Platform’s services and operates its own fundraising activities.
• Content – any text, images, videos, software or other material you upload to or view on the Platform.
• Supporter/ Player – an individual who purchases a ticket or otherwise takes part in a club’s/ organisation’s fundraising activity through the Platform.
• Services – the online tools and services provided by SLL through the Platform, including membership administration, payment processing, event ticketing and fundraising management.
• You – the individual accessing the Platform or using our Services.

3. Registration and Eligibility

• Age and legal capacity: You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to register an account on the Platform. Fundraising lotteries and raffles are regulated activities and may only be entered by persons of legal age. If you access a club’s/ organisation’s fundraising draw you are warranting that you satisfy any age or legal requirements imposed by your local laws.
• Accurate information: When creating an account you must provide accurate, current and complete information (including your name, contact details and, where relevant, payment information) and keep it up to date. You agree that SLL may share certain information with the Clubs/ Organisations with whom you are transacting so that the clubs/ organisations can administer their fundraising activities.
• Account security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities undertaken through your account. You agree to notify SLL immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Our Services

• Platform provider. SLL provides Clubs/ Organisations with an online platform for membership management, communication, event ticketing and fundraising. SLL is not a seller of lottery tickets, nor a promoter of gambling. This distinction mirrors other platforms where it is expressly stated that the platform is a ticket buying service or a marketplace rather than the organiser.
• Fundraising draws. Clubs/ Organisations may use the Platform to run fundraising activities such as lottos, raffles or other prize draws. Each Club/ Organisation sets their own rules, entry price, prize structure, reward disbursement policies and draw dates, and is responsible for obtaining any necessary licences. SLL does not operate or control these draws, does not determine winning numbers, and does not hold or award prizes. The prizes/ rewards are issued by the club/organisation and the platform does not issue prizes.
• Event tickets. Some Clubs/ Organisations may sell tickets to events through the Platform. SLL acts solely as an online marketplace; the contract of sale for event tickets is between you and the clubs/ organisations organising the event. Refunds for cancelled or rescheduled events must be sought from the organising clubs/ organisations. SLL does not purchase, sell or re-sell tickets.
• Payment processing. When you purchase a ticket or make a donation through the Platform, we do not collect payment on behalf of the clubs/ organisations. The funds are directly and immediately transferred to the bank account of the designated club/ organisation. SLL may use third-party payment processors to handle payments. All ticket purchases or donations are non-refundable by SLL once processed; any refund requests must be directed to the relevant Club/ Organisation.

5. Relationship Between You, SLL and the Club

• Contract of sale. For all fundraising draws and ticket purchases, the contract is between you and the club/ organisations. SLL facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the contract.
• Clubs’/ Organisations’ responsibilities. Clubs/ Organisations are solely responsible for:
  • Obtaining any licences or permits required under applicable law;
  • Determining eligibility criteria for participants (e.g., geographic restrictions or age limits);
  • Setting the rules, entry price, number selection, drawing mechanism and prize structure;
  • Conducting and publicising the draw or event;
  • Holding entry monies in accordance with local regulations;
  • Awarding and distributing prizes or tickets;
  • Refunding any unspent wallet of supporter when the supporter wishes to leave the platform or when SLL/club decides to terminate services.
• No guarantee by SLL. SLL does not warrant that any fundraiser or event run by a Club will be operated lawfully or successfully, nor does it guarantee the performance of any Club. Your participation is at your own risk.

6. Acceptable Use

• Lawful use. You must use the Platform for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Services to post or transmit any material that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable, or to engage in any fraudulent, misleading or harmful activities.
• Compliance with laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform and participation in any Club/ Organisation fundraiser complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• No promotion of gambling or alcohol. Clubs/ Organisation admins must not use the Platform to promote gambling or alcohol in sponsorship or advertising.

7. Intellectual Property

• Ownership of the Platform. All intellectual property rights in the Platform and its underlying software belong to SLL or its licensors. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior written consent.
• Content you provide. You retain ownership of Content you upload. You grant SLL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, use, modify and display such Content for providing the Services.

8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

• Platform as a facilitator. SLL is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or claim arising from or related to a Club’s/ Organisation’s fundraising activity or event.
• Exclusion of damages. SLL excludes all liability for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, loss of profit or data, etc.
• Indemnity. You agree to indemnify SLL, its directors and employees from all claims arising from your breach or misuse.

9. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information. By using the Platform you consent to the collection and use of your information as described.

10. Changes to the Platform or Terms

SLL may modify or discontinue any part of the Platform. Terms may be updated to reflect changes in law or services. Continued use means acceptance of updates.

11. Suspension and Termination

SLL may suspend or terminate your access for breach, unlawful use, or legal reasons. Termination does not affect prior obligations.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Irish law. Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
